GRADING POLICY
JUNIOR COMPETITIVE TEAMS
U11 - U16
Training / Trials for all competitive age groups have been posted on our website (see Latest News page...click here for link to page).
The process of team selections will commence after sign-on weekend (i.e. 30th and 31st January, 2010) at training / grading sessions allocated for each age group. As such, training sessions advertised on the Latest News page will remain current until players have been allocated to teams. Players will then be advised of individual training sessions for their team.
It is important that players attend all training / grading sessions to ensure they are allocated to an appropriate team for the 2010 season. Any player not able to attend must notify the Grading Panel by way of e-mail to secretary.rivers@live.com
Below we have outlined our policy with respect to grading of competitive players in 2010.
RIVERS' GRADING POLICY
Players will undergo a formal grading process.
Players will be allocated to teams based on their ability, as determined by the grading panel* in consultation with the team coach.
The aim of our grading policy for junior competitive teams is to nominate teams in the highest possible division to ensure the continued development of players.
Decisions by the grading panel* are absolute.
* rivers' grading panel consists of qualified coaches, under the direction and guidance of the junior director of coaching.
